Working on Homework

After registering a Form Six place in my school, I immediately received a notice which told me to read two books and did the book reviews. It was the tenth of August when I knew this summer homework. Now, it is the last day of August and I haven't finish the homework yet.

The two books are titled 《棋王》 and 《中國文化導論》. The first one was easy: you just need to write a essay with more than one thousand two hundred words concerning about the plot and you comments after reading the book. I finished it quite quickly. However, when I came to 《中國文化導論》, I was surprised to find that it was a huge workload! Firstly you need to read the very first 23 chapters in this book, they're all talking about the Chinese Culture and comparing it to the Western Culture. Then, you need to summarize each chapter with five to eight points! By just looking at my blog, you know me that I don't know how to type Chinese! The only way I do this homework is to use my writing pad. It was very difficult and slow indeed, and I'm still working on it this morning. I'm tiring in reading all of the materials, they're too hard to understand. Do I need to study in my Form Six? I don't hope it would ever happen.

Although tomorrow's the first school day, I don't need to hand in the homework instantly. So I have at least one more day to finish my task. By the way, this afternoon I'll do an interview with a teacher of my school who is going to retire this school term. Everyone in my school knows him well, and it's no doubt he's highly respected. I do this work for my school magazine, as I'm one of its members. I'll stop here and continue with my homework, it's just so sad!
