I went to Simon's home to fix the problem with his computer. The problem with his system was that after he logged into the Windows XP, there was nothing on the desktop and as well as the taskbar was disappeared. It was strange. I logged in as "Administrator" and wanted to change security setting of the folders. Yet, it didn't work. I phoned Herman for help and he couldn't solve it neither. There was only one choice left, that was re-install the system. You may say that every time when I can't solve the problem, re-installation was the only way for me. However, I was not going to format the whole harddisk but just remove the old OS and install the new Windows XP Pro. It took me two and a half hour in doing that. Very tiring indeed.
Yet, computer can also make you feel pleased. When I came back to home, I had all the albums of Ayumi Hamasaki. I don't think that the singing of her was beautiful, but I just want to collect them. There are totally 26 albums of her so far which is a large number for a singer. The remaining work was to rename them. It is easy now as I have foobar2000 with me. You can't imagine there is such a good audio player on earth which allows you to add ever more plug-ins to it. You may say that it is the same as Winamp but after using it you'll notice that foobar2000 is a player that you'll love it.
I'll find a day to tell you the amazing functions of foobar2000. If you have time, please try this player yourself, but don't close it when you see its simple layout. If you right click on the playlist, you'll find out many hidden specialized functions. Hope you'll enjoy it.
